Welcome to my site and my writing journey that I’ll be sharing more on later. I’m a native Georgian and have lived in the South most of my life except when I lived overseas in Germany and briefly in Tacoma, Washington. Living in Georgia, in the summer it’s humid, and you can find sweet tea at any restaurant. In the winter, you have to be prepared for an unexpected snowfall, and you had better make sure that you have bread and milk at the house because those are the staple items that Kroger runs out of at first hint of a snow flurries. Just a tip from someone who has lived here most of her life.

I’m an author of three children books: Jasmine at Work, Jasmine the Chef, and Jasmine’s Got Talent which are all on Amazon and other book retailers. My desire for all three books is to teach children to dream through the eyes of a cute, gray miniature schnauzer. The books are based on the likeness of my dogs Jasmine who is the mini, and Simon who is a Jack Russell terrier and the co-star of the book. In each book, Jasmine goes on an adventure with her pals where she’s working, cooking, and performing on stage. Since the publication of my books, Jasmine has crossed the Rainbow Bridge back in  December 2020, and she is greatly missed.

As well as being an author of children books, I have been a writer for couple of online magazines:  Vents Magazine and VEU magazine out of Atlanta. I’ve also written for Women Only, a local magazine where I live interviewing business owners and incredible individuals in the community.

Mainly, on my website, I’m sharing interviews with individuals in the entertainment industry as well as chats with authors and models along with a few personal stories and guests posts. I’m quite involved in the theatre, and there are few interviews on my site with some local talent out of Dalton Little Theatre.

When you visit my site, I want you to feel at home and post comments. I encourage you to browse it and take a look at my older posts. Grab a glass of tea or mocha latte, and escape from the daily grind and see what my site offers. You may find a quote in one of the articles that inspires you to go for your dreams. You may find inspiration from a writer or an actor who encourages you to keep going in the pursuit of your goals. My desire for you is to be inspired and encouraged and to live your life to the fullest.
